Glass nibs work with virtually any ink and are easy to clean, making them a popular choice for testing new inks. But they're not just for testing. They're easy to use and can write multiple sentences between dips, making them more comfortable to write with than a typical dip pen. Additionally, the glass nib will never rust or wear out, so if well cared for, it can last a lifetime.

The pen holder is easy to clean. After use, rinse with clean water and dry with a paper towel. You only need to spend 10 seconds cleaning before you can change the color.

Use:
Partially dip the tip into a bottle of your favorite ink.
Gently wipe the sides of the nib against the opening of the bottle to drain the excess ink. The only ink left on the nib should be the ink contained in the tiny capillary grooves that spiral around the nib.
When writing, rotate the pen slightly whenever the ink begins to dry so that the ink from the other grooves can be used.
